Grab some popcorn, candy, and a fountain drink at your local Cinema 4 movie theater! Jason Scott, along with Terra, Bre, and Troy, go above and beyond to make sure every customer is satisfied. Since 2006 they have brought nearly every major release to Pampa for you to sit down and enjoy. They took over a run down building and formed it into one of the major entertainment establishments in the city of Pampa. The Cinema 4 is a locally owned business who believes in local shopping and helping the community.

Why did you decide to start this business?

We had movie theater in Colorado and it got shutdown, we went with out a movie theater for quite a while and everyone was really upset about it.  So we decided to open it back up. We now own one in Colorado, Oklahoma, and here in Pampa.

How has business been so far?

Business has been really good. When the oil field went down it started getting slow, but not to bad. It's been steadily increasing.

What makes your business different?

It's in a small town, the atmosphere is good here. Everyone here can enjoy themselves.

Tell us a bit about you, where are you originally from?

I was born and raised in Springfield, Colorado. We moved to Pampa about 10 years ago.

What were you doing before you started this business?

Before I started the movie theaters, me and my brother owned a body shop in Springfield, we painted cars. Now my brother owns it.

Tell us something you want others to know about Jason Scott the person, not the business person.

On my spare time I spend time playing with my kids. I have four boys, one of them already graduated from high school, the others are still in elementary and junior high.  I just love spending time with them, we have a blast.

What are your thoughts on shopping locally?

Business have mostly everything we need, stores keep more items in stock then people realize. Shopping locally can help expand businesses here in Pampa. The more people help the better.

What's one way you think Pampa could help its local businesses?

I feel that every one should check the stores here before going anywhere else. Some people will hop in their cars to go buy a TV in Amarillo, before even considering to check what they have here. I buy everything here, I won't go anywhere else unless I absolutely need to.

So the next time you are in the mood to watch a movie, go to Cinema 4.  You see the same friendly faces that you know and they have the best popcorn ever. Their employees are always ready to help and to provide the best customer service around. You can book birthday parties and special events! Since they are a local establishment you can always talk to any one of the owners or with General Manager Caleb Dunham. Check out there website for movie show times, ticket prices, concession prices, and to see what movies are coming soon. Go purchase your tickets today and tell them that PampaTX.com sent you!
